Ten Lecturers from the UNNES Attend the Opening of INCOLWIS 7th at Unesa Surabaya
SURABAYA-JAYA NEWS.COM – Surabaya State University (UNESA) in collaboration with the Indonesian Association of Regional Culture Lecturers (IKADBUDI) held the 7th International Conference of Local Wisdom (Incolwis 7) on August 12-14, 2025. The event was attended by UPI, Unnes, UNS, Undiksha, UI, IAHN Kuturan, Unand, USU, Universitas Muh Kuningan, UNM,
Unmuh Makasar, UNY,
UNS (PBJ FKIP), UGM,
Bantara University, UPGRIS, and UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar.
At the opening ceremony of the conference, held on Tuesday evening, August 12, 2025,
10 lecturers from Javanese Language and Literature at Semarang State University (UNNES) attended as participants and speakers. They were: Teguh Supriyanto, Yusro Edi Nugroho, Mujimin, Nur Fateah, Pembayun Miji Lestari, Sungging Widagdo, Ucik Fuadiyah, Rahma Ari Widiastuti, Nur Hanifah Insani, and Dandung Aditya Argo Prasetyo.

– Theme: “Rethinking Local Wisdom in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Smart Societies”
– Subthemes discussed cover various aspects of local wisdom, such as:
– *Local Wisdom in Science*: Application of local wisdom in scientific development
– *Local Wisdom in Religion*: The role of local wisdom in religious practices
– *Local Wisdom in Culture*: Preservation and development of local culture
– *Local Wisdom in Language and Literature*: Utilization of local language and literature in the digital era

– Discuss the role of local wisdom in the era of technology and smart societies
