Perumdam Indramayu’s ABM Task Force Recruitment Complies with Regulations, Included in the 2025 Work Plan and Approved by the Regent
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – The recruitment of new employees for the Meter Reading Analysis Task Force (ABM Task Force) position at Perumdam Tirta Darma Ayu Indramayu is guaranteed to be conducted legally and transparently. The selection process complies with applicable regulations and is stipulated in the 2025 Company Work Plan and Budget (RKAP).
Furthermore, the recruitment has received official approval from the Regent of Indramayu, acting as the Capital Owner’s Authorization (KPM).
The Acting President Director of Perumdam Tirta Darma Ayu explained that the legal basis for the recruitment process refers to Article 49 Paragraph (10) of Indramayu Regent Regulation Number 7 of 2025 concerning the Second Amendment to Regent Regulation Number 50 of 2020 concerning the Appointment and Dismissal of the Supervisory Board and Directors of Perumdam.
“These provisions emphasize that the rights, authorities, duties, and obligations of Acting Directors are the same as those of permanent officials,” he explained.
This recruitment was conducted in a short period of three days, considering the company’s urgent need to improve service and operational efficiency. However, all selection stages were conducted openly, transparently, and free of charge.

“Recruitment for the ABM Task Force is open to the public and free of charge,” he emphasized.
He also urged the public, especially job seekers, not to hesitate to report to law enforcement if they encounter any illegal levies (pungli), intimidation, or other violations in the recruitment process.
“If any individuals promise to pass the recruitment process in exchange for money or other forms of pressure, report them immediately. We are committed to keeping this process clean and professional,” he said.
He further explained that the formation of the ABM Task Force aims to improve service quality, particularly in the monitoring and evaluation of customer water meter readings. This task force is also expected to reduce water loss (non-revenue water) and support the performance of the new Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) in the Kedokanbunder area.
The existence of the ABM Task Force also provides a solution to the shortage of employees who have reached retirement age.
Seeing the high public enthusiasm for this recruitment, management, through Public Relations Manager Sutoni, accompanied by SPV Gilan, shared several tips with applicants. These include: obtaining information only from official channels, completing documents correctly, understanding the required qualifications, being honest in filling out data, and being confident during the selection process.
“Don’t be easily tempted by parties promising instant graduation. Honesty and competence are key assets,” he concluded.**
