GWI Investigation Team Visits Patient at Panimbang Community Health Center, Ready to Escort Treatment to Regional Hospital
PANDEGLANG BANTEN-JAYA NEWS COM – The investigative team from the Indonesian Journalists Association (GWI) of Pandeglang Regency, along with media representatives from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri), conducted a humanitarian visit to the Panimbang Community Health Center in Pandeglang, Banten, on Monday (July 21, 2025).
The visit was to see a patient named Juyamin, a Panimbang resident, who has been undergoing treatment for hypertension (high blood pressure) since July 19, 2025. The patient’s condition requires intensive care and a possible referral to the regional hospital if necessary.
M. Sutisna, a member of the GWI investigation team, stated that they were not only visiting but also ready to oversee the administrative process of treatment, including processing important documents and providing assistance if the patient needs to be referred to a regional referral hospital.
“We are ready to oversee Mr. Juyamin’s treatment process, including accompanying him if he needs to go to the regional hospital or process BPJS Kesehatan (Social Security Agency) registration, as he is currently not registered as a BPJS participant,” M. Sutisna told the media.
In addition to visiting Juyamin, the investigation team also directly contacted the family of another patient, Ruswandi, who is caring for his family member in a different room at the same community health center.
Ruswandi expressed his appreciation for the public services provided by the Panimbang Community Health Center. He assessed that the services provided were excellent, orderly, and in accordance with public service standards as stipulated in Regulation Number 17 of 2023 concerning Public Services.
“We, as the patient’s family, feel very helped. The services provided by the Panimbang Community Health Center are very orderly and meet standards. We express our deepest gratitude,” Ruswandi said.
The investigation team stated that it will continue to monitor and oversee public services in the health sector, as part of its duties as independent journalism and social control.***
