Synergy, Wanasari Brebes Police Chief, Accompanies the Corn Harvest Festival in Sigentong Village
BREBES-JAYA NEWS.COM – Wanasari Brebes Police Chief AKP Umi Antum Farich together with the Muspika and Sigentong Village Government (Pemdes) staff carried out assistance for the corn harvest festival in the local village’s rice fields, recently.
Brebes Police Chief AKBP Achmad Oka Mahendra through Wanasari Police Chief AKP Umi Antum said that this activity was a form of Polri’s support for the national food security program.
“The Police Chief together with Muspika, Pemdes and agricultural extension officers participated in the harvest festival,” said the Police Chief on Saturday (6/14/2025).
The Police Chief said that from the land area of approximately 875 square meters, it produced around 1.8 tons of corn at a price of 4,000/kg.
The activity, in addition to supporting the President’s Asta Cita program in terms of food security, according to the Police Chief, is also a means of fostering friendship and strengthening relations between the police and the community.
The Police Chief also appreciated the hard work of farmers and hoped that this activity could increase agricultural productivity and community welfare.
“This activity is also to establish synergy between the Police and the community and other related agencies in order to support the food security program of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subiyanto,” he explained.**
