Nature is a fundamental characteristic or innate nature that is inherent in a person, other creature, or something that forms its character or identity. For humans, nature reflects a tendency towards behavior or emotional responses, such as being honest, patient, stubborn, a liar, angry, and likes to make false promises. So the essence of nature is the essence or identity that distinguishes and determines how to think, feel and act.

Basically, nature is closely related to attitudes in responding to something or a certain situation. However, attitudes can change more easily because they are very dependent on experience, certain situations and the development of understanding that there is a problem that has not been known in more depth before. Therefore, polite attitudes and critical attitudes towards a policy can be carried out based on certain conditions, situations and understandings that are different from previous knowledge and understanding.

In other words, nature is who we really are. While attitude is how to respond to something that has or is happening and will happen later. So, the essence of attitude is a reflection of a person’s values, beliefs and way of thinking which is manifested in the way of appreciating the roof in facing a situation, or towards a particular person or event.

Basically, attitude reflects the inner orientation towards something that is believed or felt. And most importantly, that attitude is a manifestation of a conscious choice, because it is formed, directed and changed according to the desired will. And the most essential thing about an attitude is that it becomes the basis for actions and behaviors that are manifested later. Therefore, that attitude will become a moral identity and social character that shows a value – good or bad – of a person. Therefore, attitude is not just a spontaneous reaction, but an expression of awareness and values that are held firmly by the person concerned.

In the perspective of human consciousness, nature and attitude are actually dominant in the spiritual realm, not in the intellectual habitat. Because what most dominantly determines attitude and nature is the whisper of the heart. Like the mystery of love, longing to romantic vibrations that build a mood in joy and sadness. So nature and attitude as part of spiritual awareness, cannot be fully claimed by the logic of intellectual thought alone. Both predominantly emerge from inner whispers or the voice of the heart — just like love, longing or empathy — which often cannot be explained rationally, but remain strong and steadfast to act on the basis of beliefs like many things taught and guided by religion.

In essence, if that nature shows who we really are, then attitude will indicate what results from what we have done. That is how nature forms character, and attitude will show the value of what can be done with real results. So the spiritual values produced can be calculated not in numbers. Because spirituality does not prioritize results, but the process of becoming so that it can continue to happen.
