Indonesia-Singapore Military Cooperation: Commander of the V/Brawijaya Military Command Establishes Strategic Ties
SINGAPORE-JAYA NEWS.COM — Commander of the V/Brawijaya Military Command, Major General Rudy Saladin, M.A., visited the 6th Division/HQ SS Command in Singapore. He was accompanied by Brigadier General Singgih Pambudi Arianto, Head of the Expert Staff of the V/Brawijaya Military Command, and Colonel Eko Setyawan, Assistant Operations Officer of the V/Brawijaya Military Command, on Thursday (July 23, 2025).
The visit aimed to strengthen military cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore.
At the 6th Division/HQ SS headquarters, the Commander of the V/Brawijaya Military Command was welcomed by Brigadier General Anand Sathi Kumar. The meeting discussed modern defense strategies and the exchange of intelligence information.
This cooperation is expected to enhance preparedness in facing regional threats. Both countries are committed to maintaining regional security stability through the Senior Officer Visit Program (SOPV).
In addition to visiting Division 6/HQ SS, the Commander of the V/Brawijaya Military Command also met with the Chief of Staff of the Singapore Army, Major General Cai Dexian. This meeting served as an important forum for exchanging views on strategic issues. The two generals discussed developments in military technology and modern combat tactics.
Through this dialogue, the Commander of the V/Brawijaya Military Command and the Chief of Staff of the Singapore Army agreed to increase joint training and technology sharing, and exchange insights on the military strengths of both countries, particularly the ground forces.
