Ephesians 2:2, 16-22 (NKJV) In which you live according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience.
And to reconcile both of them in one body to God through the cross, by which he has put to death the enmity.
He came and preached peace to you who were “far off” and peace to those who were “near,”
Because through him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
So then, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone.
In whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In Him, you too are being awakened into a dwelling place for God, in the Spirit. ***
