THE JOB OF THE BANJAR TRIBE FROM SOUTH KALIMANTAN IN CREATING A NEW CIVILIZATION ON THE ISLAND OF SUMATRA, THE PENINSULA, TO MADAGASCAR AND THE COMOROS

The role of the Banjar tribe as identified based on research results:

1. It began with the Tanjung Puri Kingdom in South Kalimantan, which existed since 242 BC.

2. In the 7th century, in 682 AD, the Banjar tribe from the Tanjung Puri Kingdom undertook the Shidayatra (Madam) expedition, with 20,000 people led by Dapunta Hiyang Srijayanasa departing for the island of Sumatra to establish the Banua Sriwijaya.

3. In the 7th century, some Banjar people from Sriwijaya migrated and settled in Madagascar and the Comoros. (This gave rise to the Malagasy people)

4. In the 8th century, in 700 AD, Sriwijaya established the Tanjung Pura Kingdom in West Kalimantan.

5. In 1183 AD, a descendant of Dapunta Hiyang Srijayanasa, Srimat Trailokyaraja Maulibhusana Warmadewa, founded the Dharmasraya Kingdom (giving birth to the Kerinci tribe).

6. In 1299 AD, a descendant of Dapunta Hyang Srijayanasa, Sang Nila Utama, founded the Temasik Kingdom (now Singapore).

7. In 1347 AD, a descendant of Srimat Trailokyaraja Maulibhusana Warmadewa, Adityawarman, founded the Pagaruyung Kingdom in West Sumatra. (Giving birth to the Minang people)

8. In 1402 AD, a descendant of Sang Nila Utama, named Prameswara, founded the Malacca Kingdom on the peninsula. (Giving birth to the Malay people). From the descendants of these Malacca kings, the Johor kingdom, Tanjung Pura in North Sumatra, the Riau Lingga Sultanate, the Pajang Sultanate, the Perak Sultanate, and the Siak Sri Indrapura Sultanate were born.***
