Polindra Holds International Public Lecture Featuring Two Speakers from Germany
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – Indramayu State Polytechnic (Polindra) held an International Public Lecture or One-Day Seminar featuring two international speakers: Prof. Dr. Astrid Seltrecht, Health and Care, and Prof. Dr. Frank Bunning, Technical and Vocational Education and Training from the University of Magdeburg, Germany, on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the 7th floor of the Polindra Student Center (GSC).
In attendance was the Director of Indramayu State Polytechnic (Polindra), Ir. Rofan Aziz, S.T.M.T., IPM.
Vice Director 1 for Academic Affairs, Ir. Badruzaman S.ST., M.T.; Vice Director 2 for Financial and General Planning, Ahmad Lubis Ghozali, S.Kom., M.Kom.; Vice Director 3 for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Ir. Karsid, S.T., M.T.; Heads of Departments (Kajur), Heads of Study Programs (Kaprodi), Heads of Technical Implementation Units (Kaunit), Lecturers, and participants comprised D3 Nursing students and student representatives from various departments and study programs at Indramayu State Polytechnic.
The International Seminar or Public Lecture was officially opened by the Director of Indramayu State Polytechnic (Polindra), Ir. Rofan Aziz S.T., M.T., IPM.

Nurohmat, M.H., explained that today’s event at Polindra involved an International Seminar or Public Lecture, featuring two speakers from the University of Magdeburg, Germany: Prof. Dr. Astrid Seltrecht, Health and Care, and Prof. Dr. Frank Bunning, Technical and Vocational Education and Training. The goal was to provide students with insight and knowledge about job opportunities abroad or those wishing to continue their studies in Germany. The two highly competent speakers featured two highly competent speakers in the fields of health and nursing.
The material covered the Government-to-Government (G-to-G) internship program abroad, as Indramayu Polytechnic has established numerous partnerships with various countries, including Germany.
“We hope that this international public lecture will enable students to take advantage of internship and work opportunities abroad or continue their studies in Germany,” he said.

Meanwhile, the moderator or MC of the International Public Lecture from Indramayu State Polytechnic, Muhammad Iksan Basir, a lecturer in Medical Laboratory Engineering (TLM) at Polindra, who graduated from Hasanudin Makasar’s Masters Program, added to the media that the Public Lecture, featuring a speaker from Germany, aimed to provide Polindra students, particularly those in the Health Department of the Nursing Study Program, with knowledge and skills related to job opportunities and study in Germany.
Nada Fitri, a third-semester participant in the Public Lecture from the Health Department of the Nursing Diploma Program, stated that the Public Lecture, featuring a speaker from Germany, was very beneficial for the students. By participating, they gained new insights and knowledge about Health and Nursing. They also gained additional knowledge if they wish to continue their studies in Germany. Those who wish to work abroad, especially in Germany, also gained valuable insights and knowledge.
