After Massive Fire, Dozens of Stalls at Cikarang Market Begin Rebuilding
BEKASI-JAYA NEWS.COM — Following the massive fire that engulfed Cikarang Market next to the Cikarang Wholesale Center (SGC) and destroyed dozens of stalls on November 4, 2025, vendors have begun rebuilding their businesses. The reconstruction process began on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
The fire caused significant losses for the vendors. However, their enthusiasm for recovery remains unwavering. Several vendors were seen working together to set up makeshift stalls while reorganizing their remaining merchandise.

One vendor, Lendris Nawita, expressed her sadness and determination to get back to business. “I’m starting my business from scratch after all my merchandise was destroyed by the fire. I have to sell again to make ends meet,” she said.
Lendris Nawita also hopes that restarting her business will bring blessings. “Hopefully, the business I started from scratch can run safely and comfortably,” he said.
Efforts to rebuild the vendors’ stalls are expected to continue over the next few days as they organize and repair the affected trading area.**
