Polindra and DPMD Sign Cooperation Agreement for Smart Village Masterplan
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – Indramayu State Polytechnic (Polindra) and the Indramayu Regency Village Community Empowerment Office (DPMD) signed a Cooperation Agreement for the Smart Village Development Masterplan in Indramayu Regency at the Student Center (GSC) Building, 3rd Floor, Indramayu State Polytechnic on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
The Cooperation Agreement was symbolically signed by the Director of Indramayu State Polytechnic (Polindra), Ir. Rofan Aziz, S.T., M.T., IPM, and the Acting Head of the Village Community Empowerment Office. Iim Nurahim, S.Sos., M.Si.,
Present at the signing of the Smart Village Masterplan agreement were the Head of Village Planning and Cooperation, Kadmidi. Also present were the Board of Directors of the Smart Village Development Masterplan Cooperation Team, Moh. Ali Fikri, M.Kom.; the Head of the Smart City Information Systems (SIKC) Study Program, Fauzan Ishlakhuddin, S.Kom., M.Cs.; SIKC lecturers and student representatives.
The Director of Indramayu State Polytechnic (Polindra), Ir. Rofan Aziz, S.T., M.T., IPM, through the Smart Village Development Masterplan Team and a lecturer at Moh. Ali Fikri, M.Kom., told the media that he expressed his deepest gratitude to the local government, especially the Indramayu Regency Regional Leadership Council (DPMD), for their trust in the SIKC study program in POLINDRA for the Smart Village Development Masterplan program in Indramayu Regency.
Collaboration between academics and local governments is a tangible manifestation of the impact it has on improving the quality of life of the community.
“The purpose of the Smart Village Masterplan in Indramayu Regency is to serve as a reference for villages already implementing the Smart Village program and those planning to implement village development through the Smart Village approach; to serve as a reference for stakeholders in Smart Village development; and to encourage villages to utilize information technology effectively for village development to achieve the six pillars of Smart Villages and accelerate the achievement of the SDGs.
The target is for all villages in Indramayu Regency to become Smart Villages,” he said.
Moh. Ali Fikri added that the Smart Village Masterplan Program will be implemented 60 days after the signing of the Cooperation Agreement.
There are six pillars stipulated in the Ministry of Villages regulations that must be included in the Smart Village Masterplan:
1. Smart People
2. Smart Economy
3. Smart Governance
4. Smart Environment
5. Smart Living
6. Smart Mobility
Meanwhile, the Head of the Applied Smart City Information Systems Undergraduate Program at Indramayu State Polytechnic, Fauzan Ishlakhuddin, S.Kom., M.Sc., added to the media, “Hopefully, with this collaboration, we at Indramayu State Polytechnic can contribute to the further development of Indramayu Regency and contribute to the local government, particularly Indramayu Regency, and benefit the Indramayu community.”
“We, the Indramayu State Polytechnic, are ready to collaborate with the Indramayu Regency Government, not only on the Smart Village Masterplan, but also on other programs in Indramayu Regency. We, the Indramayu State Polytechnic, have 11 study programs and are also ready to collaborate in other fields such as Health, Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Informatics Engineering, and others,” he said.
Meanwhile, in a press statement, the Acting Head of the Village Community Empowerment Office, Iim Nurahim, S.Sos., M.Si., represented by the Head of Village Planning and Cooperation, Kadmidi, explained to the media,
“Thank God, the Smart Village Masterplan Cooperation Agreement with the Indramayu State Polytechnic has been completed. The goal is for villages in Indramayu Regency to receive assistance from the Indramayu State Polytechnic, so that all 309 villages in Indramayu Regency can be realized,” he added.**
