IWO Indramayu Congratulates Icank on Being Elected as Acting Chairman of PWI Indramayu
INDRAMAYU-JAYA NEWS.COM – Chairman of the Indramayu Online Journalists Association (IWO), Ali Ma’nawi alias Almak, congratulated and expressed his appreciation for the election of Ihsan Mahfudz alias Icank as Acting Chairman of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) of Indramayu Regency by the General Chairperson of the Central PWI Hendry CH Bangun (HCB).
This is based on the decree of the Central PWI number 336-PLP/PP-PWI/2025, dated May 16, 2025. Ihsan Mahfudz is expected to lead PWI Indramayu with integrity and professionalism.
“I congratulate Ihsan Mahfudz on his election as Acting Chairman of PWI Indramayu. We believe that Ihsan Mahfudz will bring PWI Indramayu to a better and more professional direction,” said Almak, Monday (5/26/2025).
The Chairman of IWO Indramayu hopes that Ihsan Mahfudz can improve the performance of PWI Indramayu and fight for the rights of journalists in Indramayu Regency, including synergizing with other journalist professional organizations.
“We hope that Ihsan Mahfudz can become a visionary leader and strengthen the relationship between PWI and other journalist professional organizations,” explained Almak.
IWO Indramayu also hopes that Icank can bring PWI Indramayu to a higher level and improve the quality of journalism in Indramayu Regency.
Regarding the statement from the previous chairman of PWI Indramayu, Dedi Musashi, who allegedly rejected the decree, IWO Indramayu hopes that it can be resolved internally in accordance with the organization’s mechanism.
“That’s an internal matter, hopefully it can be resolved soon,” he concluded.
