The Role of Buzzers and the Ministry of Communication and Digital in Building Awareness of Indonesian Citizens

Buzzers who are rampant in social media show how important and big the role of internet-based social media is in building influence or opinions that can lead public perception to believe in something that is intended from what the buzzers want.
Through social media, buzzers deliberately want to promote a particular topic, product or issue so that it can be trusted by the public in a provocative way, terrorizing in a manipulative way as beautifully as possible so that many people can be fooled — or believe — what is narrated for that particular purpose. So that the beliefs of many people can waver and believe in what has been conveyed for that particular purpose.

That’s how the buzzer works in a negative form, because there is also positive buzzer work by spreading news that is beneficial to many people. However, usually this positive buzzer work hardly gets sponsorship or financial support, because it is considered by many parties, it is indeed the noble work of the buzzers who work based on idealism and the spirit of fighting for good.
As a result, the work of the buzzers who are dedicated to fighting for the people or the good of many people does not survive much. Moreover, efforts to improve the quality of the content or the packaging model that can meet the tastes of many people.
Generally, the private buzzers that exist do grow and develop according to their respective tastes and abilities with minimal endurance and strength, because without support or some kind of nutritious intake that can improve the quality, weight and quantity of products that must compete in the free market like general merchandise that should be attractive and meet the tastes of many people.
This is the real atmosphere that is currently rife in internet-based social media in Indonesia, like living reluctantly, but not wanting to die. Because many people need it, but almost no one cares to pay attention to internet-based online media in various forms of models and displays, including the government itself, especially the Ministry of Informatics and Digital or the Ministry of Communication and Digital which is very confusing and also seems to do nothing. Because the role of the Ministry of Communication and Digital is like being fascinated as a spectator in the flow of information, publications and communications which are actually getting faster and more important to control so as not to cause losses that we do not want.
